Eternal Smiles Dental Service

What Choose Our Dental Service?

We make it look natural in appearance

They generally require two appointments.

Make sure it lasts 10-15 years.

We will improve your appearance, bite issues and speech problems occurring as a result of missing teeth.

Initial Examination

You will get a tooth by tooth thorough examination. Dr Singh checks for cracks in your teeth and dental decay which is starting in your mouth.  The earlier the problems are diagnosed the less you will pay in the future for extensive care.  Urgent problems are treated first then non urgent treatments which can wait.

For gum care we use the Basic Periodontal Examination tool to check your gums.  The hygienist is very gentle and caring.  Many people with sensitve teeth have found her techniques better than else where.

The soft skin in your mouth will also be checked for any tissue lumps and mouth cancer.

Lastly he will examine the mobility and clicking problems of your jaw joints to offer you solutions to correct any problems noticed.

X-rays

Dr Singh or the therapist use bitewings x-rays to look for problems under your old fillings and crowns and health of the bone around the teeth. We only take them if there is cause for concern. They follow the British Dental Association guidelines.

Decay detection

To ensure consistency at Eternal Smiles Dental Centre for all of our patients, our Dentists use a very thorough examination template along with modern detection systems such as Diagnodent Laser Decay Detection, Digital X-Rays and Magnification. Our surgeries are equipped with modern cameras to display areas of concern inside your mouth.

“My dental pain one day brought me down to the surgery. I was seen at short notice. My unbearable pain was taken care off by Dr Singh. .  Two fillings a root canal and a crown and implant treatment was carried out with attention to detail.  Afterwards i saw the hygienist for gum care.  I am highly satisfied by the dental service provided by Dr Singh and his team”

The various treatments that may comprise a smile makeover are

Dental bridges. This is a fixed solution that involves a dental restoration used to replace a missing tooth by attaching an artificial tooth permanently to an adjacent tooth or dental implant.

Tooth whitening.

This restores your natural tooth colour, whilst tooth bleaching whitens beyond the natural colour for an even more dazzling effect.

Dental implants

A dental implant is a surgical device used to replace one or more missing teeth. It is fused to your jawbone and will then permanently support a crown, bridge, denture or facial prosthetic, or it can act as an orthodontic anchor.

Dental bonding.

This involves the use of various adhesives and dental composites to repair minor types of tooth damage, such as cracks or gaps.

Dental restoration

Dental restoration techniques commonly involve the use of crowns and fillings. A crown is a type of dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth or dental implant. You may need a crown when a large cavity threatens the health of a tooth, or if you need a tooth extracting. Fillings are basically restorative materials used to fill up the voids formed by smaller cavities and/or to prevent further decay.

General orthodontics.

We have expertise in all proprietary orthodontic methods such ‘Invisalign’ and ‘Tooth Coloured Braces’ as well as modern alternatives to traditional dental braces with highly capable Diamond Certified dentists on our team.

Prevention Service

One of Dr Singh’s strengths is his Prevention Programs.

We offer helpful dental information such as the fact that you need to floss before brushing for any real effect. While we use want you to have clean teeth, we also educate patients on proper oral hygiene. It is crucial for patients to brush their teeth twice a day and at least floss twice a day to keep the teeth healthy. While regular brushing and flossing can help, they are not enough to keep teeth healthy on their own. By scheduling regular dental checkup service at least twice a year, we can prevent any early signs of infection or decay before they get worse. Do not hesitate to give us a call, schedule an appointment and ask us any questions about oral health before we begin the procedure.

These Programs include:

Identifying areas of gum disease

Identifying areas of gum disease using a one to five scale and provide treatment to eliminate bone loss and red inflamed bleeding gums, and enhance the health back to pink gums.

Decay Management Program

Our Hygienists will identify causes of decay and provide a decay management program aimed at eliminating decay through good cleaning and diet at home.

Routine Checkups and Exams

Following completion of your dental plan, it is essential that routine checkups and exams are maintained to ensure your good health remains and your dentistry lasts and stays healthy as long as possible.

Your plan will identify the following areas of treatment:

URGENT TREATMENT

URGENT TREATMENT is recommended to be completed as soon as possible and is aimed to halt decay and gum disease as soon as possible, and to stop the progression of other developing problems.

SHORT-TERM TREATMENT

SHORT-TERM TREATMENT aims to build on this improved health and is typically aimed at early functional improvements for your teeth such as replacing defective fillings and ensuring gum health remains consistent. Cosmetic Care will usually fall into this category, however as Cosmetic Dental Care is sometimes “optional” it could be delayed into the long-term treatment category.

LONG-TERM TREATMENT

LONG-TERM TREATMENT aims to continue the first two steps and deliver healthy and strong teeth for life. Treatment would include keeping existing dental care up-to-date and healthy and strengthening teeth with crowns, replacing missing teeth with dental implants and keeping your smile looking nice and healthy.
